This site runs entirely on Cloudflare: Workers + Durable Objects, D1 with global read replication, R2 for media and the AI Search corpus, KV for plugin scratch space, Workers AI for inference, AI Gateway for caching and spend caps, Cloudflare Images, Cloudflare Email Service for transactional mail, Zero Trust for admin auth, and Smart Shield Advanced (Argo + Tiered Cache + Cache Reserve) at the edge.

Why this stack

- No external SaaS. Every dependency terminates inside Cloudflare's network. - AI as a first-class channel. Editors collaborate with the AuthorAgent (Cloudflare Agents SDK + Think) inside /admin. The EditorialAgent uses Codemode to orchestrate multi-step workflows in sandboxed Workers. The ScheduledAgent runs autonomously, draws topics from RSS, and queues drafts for editor review — never publishes directly. - Astro Islands for interactive UI (React, Preact) without shipping an SPA shell. - Built for AI agents. A first-party MCP server lives at /mcp (Zero Trust + bearer gated).
